Sanitary Pumps for Data Centers
Overview:
Sanitary pumps are precision-engineered for high-purity liquid-cooling systems in data-center environments, where uptime, cleanliness, and flow reliability are critical. Designed to meet CFIA and Open Compute Project (OCP) standards, these pumps provide contamination-free coolant circulation through cold plates, manifolds, and coolant distribution units (CDUs). Constructed from corrosion-resistant stainless steel with sanitary-grade finishes, they combine efficient hydraulic performance with robust, easy-to-service designs that ensure long-term system reliability in mission-critical cooling applications.
Key Technical Advantages:
CFIA-Compliant Sanitary Construction: Fully drainable, crevice-free stainless steel design supports clean-in-place (CIP) and sterilize-in-place (SIP) maintenance.
316L Stainless Steel Housing: Provides superior corrosion resistance in glycol-water, dielectric, and deionized coolant systems.
Precision Sealing Options: Equipped with mechanical or magnetic seals to prevent leakage and minimize wear.
High Hydraulic Efficiency: Optimized impeller geometry delivers stable flow and low noise levels for continuous operation.
Broad Operating Range: Suitable for temperatures from –40 °C to +200 °C (–40 °F to +392 °F) and pressures up to 20 bar (290 psi).
Motor and Drive Compatibility: Available in electric, variable-frequency, and magnetically coupled drive configurations.
Tool-Free Maintenance: Clamp or sanitary-flange connections allow fast service and minimal downtime.
Data-Center Application Focus:
Sanitary pumps are essential for coolant circulation in OCP-compliant data-center liquid-cooling systems. Used within CDUs, rear-door heat exchangers, and rack manifolds, these pumps deliver consistent flow and pressure while maintaining coolant purity and electrical isolation. Their stainless steel, CFIA-compliant construction ensures compatibility with deionized and dielectric coolants, minimizing contamination and corrosion risk. With high-efficiency performance, quiet operation, and rapid serviceability, sanitary pumps support the continuous uptime, energy efficiency, and cleanliness standards required in modern high-density computing and thermal-management environments.
